Greystone Inn archives

Well over a year after I ended Greystone Inn, I've finally redesigned the site to make it clear that the site is no longer live. It is now the archive of the strip, holding close to five years of daily comics.

On a related note, Evil Inc readers have recently discovered Greystone. I'm going to start a regular feature here in the blog called "This Week in Greystone History" -- the first installment of which has already been posted. These will highlight old Greystone storylines. Starting next week, these features will highlight past Halloween stories.

This week in Greystone History

October 4, 2004, found Lightning Lady in the arms of her mysterious lover, a fanboy with a secret. Longtime readers will remember that she met him at Comic Con International earlier that year.

Fantastic Four 2

[Hollywood Reporter] Beau Garrett and Andre Braugher have been cast in "Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer," which Tim Story is directing for 20th Century Fox. Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis are reprising their roles for the adaptation of the long-running Marvel comics series, a follow-up to last year's "Fantastic Four." Shooting is under way in Vancouver. Garrett will play Frankie Raye, a scientist and love interest to Evans' character. Read more.

An earlier report from the same source said that the Surfer will be computer-animated.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed (although the Silver Surfer was kind of a giveaway): Galactus will appear in the movie as well.
