As hard as it is to believe, we're winding down the convention season, and that means that it's time for one of my personal favorite shows, Baltimore Comic Con.

Circle your calendars because it's coming up in a couple weeks -- August 28-29 -- with my friend Scott Kurtz reprising his incredible turn as host of the Harvey Awards on Saturday night. If you missed it last year, you do not want to repeat that mistake this year.

Baltimore has made it easy-peasy to keep up with the latest of the show -- with feeds on Twitter, MySpace, ComicsSpace, Facebook and, of course, their Web site.

As always, I will have on hand all five Evil Inc Annual Report books, copies of the Phables and Courting Disaster collections, How To Make Webcomics, the Complete Greystone Inn hardcover, the Power Girl poster that is available only at conventions, and plenty of original art.

If you're not familiar with Tall Tales Features -- a community Web site that serves cartoon enthusiasts -- you should definitely check it out. It showcases some very good webcomics, and it's the home of Tall Tales Radio, hosted by the affable Tom Racine.

Tom's podcast is a tremendous showcase of a wide range of comics and cartooning topics and personalities, and he should be on your radar. I spoke to him briefly during Comic-Con this year, and he has made the video available on his site. Enjoy.
